Steve Powell, who founded STP Training Services, is an independent, highly experienced trainer, who has worked within the training industry for many years. His previous employers include the Royal Air Force, Royal Saudi Air force and Babcock International Group, where he delivered training within the Health, Safety and Logistics sectors – including First Aid, Manual handling, Fire warden and much more.
He also attended a First Responder course to up his skills and has full accreditation to deliver training as an Instructor with Qualsafe Awards, NUCO FAA awards, IOSH and PASMA. He has a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and a Level 4 Teaching Qualification, and is also an IOSH Technical member. His health and safety training sessions , receive excellent feedback by attendees and he delivers a great mix of theory and practical learning
Kev spent 23 years in the British Army serving in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers ensuring vehicles were recovered safely and efficiently. He was also responsible for the delivery of training on various equipment. After leaving the Army and joining Babcock he continued in the training role, gaining numerous instructor qualifications such as forklift, MEWP, Mobile Towers, NEBOSH and L3 award in education and training. Whilst with Babcock he instructed first aid, Material Handling Equipment and Health & Safety in the UK and abroad. He now delivers a variety of training courses to many clients at their locations.
Michal Sobolewski, founder of MKMS Training Services (associate company) is an independent, experienced and confident instructor who has worked for over 14 years in the training industry. In the past he has developed and delivered many courses for companies such as Babcock International Group, BAE Systems, Holdfast Training Services Ltd, Encompass Digital Media Services Ltd and many more.
His portfolio includes accredited and bespoke training within Mechanical Handling Equipment, Plant Machinery, First Aid and Health & Safety fields. He possesses Level 4 Teaching Qualification, Affiliate membership with IOSH and works with many accrediting bodies to make sure the high standards of delivery. He is able to speak both, English and Polish languages which had been helpful in several situations to maintain coursework understanding.
